Cyril Leonard advised BSI on the sale and leaseback of their 150,000 sq ft office headquarters for approximately £42m. BSI entered into a 15 year lease on Ground to 11th Floors, providing approximately 100,000 sq ft and six individual leases on Floors 12 to 17, for a term of 3 years with ability to surrender the lease once acceptable tenants had been identified. Cyril Leonard subsequently advised on the under-letting/surrender of three floors at rents in the region of £28 per sq ft.
